The Venue

Located in the Fort area of Colombo, The Kingsbury offers function rooms with views of the Colombo harbour. The hotel has a modern, sleek interior that photographs well. The lobby and function areas have been recently renovated and feel contemporary.

Our Experience

We attended a 6-year-old’s party at The Kingsbury. The magician was the highlight — 45 minutes of genuine entertainment that kept 25 kids completely captivated. The food was good, the cake was well-presented, and the staff managed the event smoothly.

The main drawback was the Fort location — weekend parking in the area can be challenging, and some guests arrived late due to traffic. Consider sharing clear directions with invitees.
