It requires a drive outside the city borders, but if you are looking for pure, unadulterated, scream-inducing thrills for your family, Leisure World in Seethawaka is the most established theme park in the country.
Divided broadly into a “dry” amusement side (featuring conventional rides like bumper cars and small roller coasters) and a massive “wet” side, the park occupies a sprawling estate set against beautiful forest terrain.

- The Water Slides: The towering spiraling tube slides and multi-lane racing slides are beloved by thrill-seeking older kids and teenagers.

Parent Tips
Leisure World is a long day out. Pack appropriately: towels, changes of clothes, waterproof sunscreen, and floaties for very young swimmers. While there is plenty of fast food on-site, bringing some of your own snacks is heavily recommended to save money and ensure the kids have healthy food available.
