Cheers Pub (Cinnamon Grand)
Cheers Pub is a bit of a Colombo legend. It’s an authentic British pub located in the basement of the Cinnamon Grand, and surprisingly, it’s one of the best places in the city to bring kids for an early dinner.
Cheers Kids Club
The main reason it’s so popular with families is the “Cheers Kids Club”—a dedicated, supervised indoor play area tucked away in the corner. It features toys, books, and often a TV playing movies or cartoons. It uniquely allows parents to enjoy a meal and a drink in a pub setting while knowing the kids are safely occupied just a few feet away.
Food for Families
The food is classic pub fare: fish and chips, burgers, and bangers and mash. They offer a specific kids’ menu and are famous for their Sunday Roast, which is a great family tradition in Colombo.
